The Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Young Scientists Conference opened at the Tongminghu Exhibition Center in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) in Aug 1.

During the opening ceremony, the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao New Quality Productivity Development Service Team was officially established. The service team upholds the principles of "technology leadership, professional services, capital empowerment, and talent development," working together to promote technological innovation, technology transfer, optimize the business environment, facilitate investment and financing channels, provide strong support for the growth of young scientists, and inject new momentum into the high-quality development of science and technology innovation enterprises.

In addition, the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Innovation and Technology Center was established during the conference. The center will focus on incubating projects for young talents from Hong Kong and Macao, transforming scientific and technological achievements, facilitating resource integration between the two regions, and providing comprehensive services along the entire chain for young innovators from the three regions.

The conference also facilitated the signing of 29 innovation and technology projects, with collaborative partners including universities, innovation and technology organizations, chambers of commerce, financial institutions, investment firms, and science and technology enterprises. These projects cover various key aspects of the innovation and technology chain, fostering collaboration across different sectors to promote technological advancement and economic growth.

Several renowned academicians, experts, and industry elites delivered keynote speeches on the forefront of science and technology and industrial trends during the conference. Their insights and expertise provided valuable perspectives on the current landscape of innovation and technology, guiding the direction of future developments in the industry.

This conference featured six thematic salon events, as well as closed-door meetings, special exhibitions, and other supporting activities, aimed at further empowering young scientific and technological talents to play a greater role in serving national strategies and accelerating the development of new productive forces. These activities provided a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and collaboration, fostering an environment conducive to innovation and talent development.
