The Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area (BDA) and the Beijing Branch of China Development Bank (CDB) signed a memorandum of financial cooperation for the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) period on Dec 2.

After the signing of the memorandum, the CDB Beijing Branch will support the BDA to implement strategic actions such as manufacturing development and urban renewal, promote the coordinated development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, and further strengthen all-around cooperation between the government and the bank in the next five years.

According to the CDB Beijing Branch, the purpose of signing a development financial cooperation memorandum for the 14th Five-Year Plan period with BDA is to develop deeper cooperation with enterprises in the region through innovative financing models, and jointly solve the problems encountered in urban development and industrial upgrading.

In the future, the CDB Beijing Branch will integrate government needs and industrial financial policies to further improve the quality of financial services in urban renewal, regional integrated development, green environmental protection, and construction of the "Two Zones".
